Abcrux BioFactory Inc. supports biotechnology-related research and development by offering a variety of services, including antibody and protein production.

Since founded in 2018, Abcrux has been conducting research and development at the Okinawa Life Science Research Center.
Their company name "Abcrux" derives from the combination of "AB," indicating that they have been involved in Anti-Body research for about 20 years, and "CRUX," meaning the Southern Cross in Latin.
The name "Abcrux" reflects their hope to be of service to your "voyage" of research.

Medium-scale culture of E. coli / Provision of its bacterial cells

ABCRUX uses a 10-litre fermenter for high-density culture of E. coli.
The medium optimized for high-density culture enables a bacterial yield (in DH5α) of about 30 g/L.

Bacterial cells so obtained are then collected and provided to you.

Antibody/Protein transient production

ABCRUX accommodates a variety of production scales/quantities, from a minimum of 5mL up to a maximum of 7L culture.
They can produce clean antibodies/proteins using their in-house manufactured endotoxin-free and animal-free plasmids.

Establishment of stable antibody/protein production strains

With both animal-free plasmids manufactured in accordance with Standards for Biological Raw Materials, and serum-free medium, ABCRUX enables consistent animal-free establishment of stable production strains.

If a stable production strain is established using a serum-free medium and suspension CHO cells from the time of gene transfer, acclimation and suspension operations are no longer required, which is a great advantage for scale-up culture and purification.

ABCRUX also provides services for culture at various scales, acquisition of purified antibodies and proteins, and production of cell banks.
